Earlier this year I visited Japan for the first time , a place that has inspired me for years through anime, art, and music.
The series, titled 横丁 (Yokochō), was photographed entirely on iPhone. I wanted to see how far I could push a tool that’s always in my hand , to treat it as a serious instrument rather than a casual one.
Shooting this way allowed me to move freely, observe quietly, and capture moments as they unfolded, without breaking their rhythm.
