Ivan Volodko is a self-taught director and photographer, born in Russia and raised in the suburbs of Berlin.
His work is rooted in observation, guided by atmosphere, instinct, and a focus on the unspoken details that define a moment.
Working across documentary, portraiture, and visual storytelling, Ivan’s practice moves fluidly between subcultures, artistic disciplines, and urban environments. He is drawn to authenticity, capturing people, places, and processes with clarity and emotional depth.
He has collaborated with a wide range of international artists, labels, and brands including Apple, Apple Music, Drake, PARTYNEXTDOOR , Omah Lay, Bonez MC, Stickle, Warner Music Group, Sony Music, OVO SOUND, Dr. Martens, and Chivas.
His visuals have been featured in Forbes, DAZED and other international publications.
Often working with documentary methods, Ivan’s approach is both intuitive and immersive, focused on lived experience rather than staged representation.
